Christmas markets have been held outdoors in Germany since medieval times. As in previous years, the Québec City version features high-quality handicraft products as well as a host of Christmas items. You will also find a great selection of delicious treats like mulled wine (hot spicy “Glühwein”), hot fruit punch for the kids, German Christmas cookies, gingerbread, bratwurst, grilled chestnuts, and more. There'll also be activities for adults and children alike.

Cows, donkeys, and sheep are a familiar sight in many a nativity scene. The 29th edition of this exhibition at the Gabrielle-Roy library will feature about 100 unique nativity scenes that showcase the important roles our animal friends play in crèches from around the world.
