Québec Winter Carnaval is one of the world's largest winter carnivals! Every year, thousands of visitors flock to Québec to enjoy a host of activities for all ages including night parades, snow sculptures, Bonhomme's Ice Palace.
A wonderful opportunity for those interested in learning more about the new forms of multidisciplinary and electronic art and meeting artists from here and abroad. The only festival of its kind in Québec.
January and February
In a colourful family atmosphere, clover-emblazoned floats, piping bands and local dancers will march to celebrate Irish presence in Québec City.
Canadian writers and emerging artists will be present for literary events such as readings, discussions and book signings.
This theatre festival showcases about ten works chosen from among the best from the national and international repertoires. Over 50 performances, a dozen works in progress and 35 activities where festival goers can meet creators and performers.
