Kayaking on the Gouffre River, a pristine salmon river, is a great family activity. Outings along stretches of the river from 12 to 25 km (7.5 to 15.5 miles) long. The river alternates between calm water and whitewater. Shuttle service. For ages 3 and up. You can also go sea kayaking in the St. Lawrence River. These self-guided boating excursions are concentrated in the mid-estuary region. The rich marine life and impressive geomorphology of the Charlevoix coastline make the area a must for kayaking, even in the winter!
Hours: winter 2019: January 5 to April 20. Summer 2019: May 18 to September 29. Telephone reservations and information: open year-round. Ticket office at the Baie-Saint-Paul wharf open daily from May to September. Ski Hok excursions and snowshoeing: January 5 to March 17, weekends. Winter kayaking: March 16 to April 20, weekends.
Minimum duration of a visit: 2 h 30
