If you’re looking for a family activity where children and adults can go crazy and burn some energy, an amusement park is just the thing. Open all year round, they are tons of fun for kids—and adults! See the biggest and best indoor amusement parks in the Québec City area.

Méga Parc at Galeries de la Capitale

There’s a legendary shopping mall in Québec City that’s so big, it even has indoor rides. It’s called Galeries de la Capitale, and the mega‑exciting amusement park is the aptly named Mega Parc. Freshly renovated, the steampunk‑themed park has 18 attractions and rides, for mega fun.

Ferris wheel, roller coasters, and bumper cars… this place is going to keep you busy. If you like skating, the mall is home to the biggest indoor skating path in North America. There are also tons of great stores and boutiques for the shoppers in the family. With an Imax Cinema, it’s the perfect place for a big day of family fun. If you’re going for maximum excitement, get the all‑access passes to the Mega Parc. Otherwise, if you just want to try a few rides, you can also pick up a points card.

Bora Park at Village Vacances Valcartier

Who said swimming is just for summer? At Village Vacances Valcartier, you can play like a dolphin all year round! This giant indoor water park features a wave pool, 14 waterslides, a family pool with water games, an adventure river, and a surf wave. All in a fun Polynesian‑themed park where it’s always a balmy 30°C (that’s 86°F). In winter, you can add some outdoor fun by visiting the Hôtel de Glace (Ice Hotel) or going sledding at the biggest winter amusement park in the Americas. For an exciting and memorable day, there’s nothing like Village Vacances Valcartier.

Tip : Bora Parc is so popular that it’s best to buy your tickets in advance, since space is limited.

Récréofun Amusement Centre

Récréofun is for kids 12 and under and is especially popular with young children. There’s a giant labyrinth with obstacles, a foam ball zone, trampolines, slides, and interactive games. This is a great place for birthday parties or for a last‑minute day of family fun.

Carie Factory Amusement Centre

With 40 arcade games, a foam ball zone, and a 4D ride, this candy‑themed amusement centre will keep the whole family entertained—teens included. For an electrifying evening, try the disco on Friday and Saturday nights. There’s a candy shack for snacks if anyone gets hungry and you can also bring your own lunch.

ISaute Québec

If you like acrobatics and adrenaline rushes, iSaute Québec is for you. It’s the biggest trampoline centre in the province and is sure to be one of the highlights of your trip. This all‑ages play place features a big space for practicing classic jumps, a basketball zone, a foam cube pit, and a toddler area, all connected by trampolines to guarantee maximum bouncing! If your family needs to jump around, don’t hesitate: head straight to iSaute. Everyone will thank you.

Escape Rooms

If you like riddles, mysteries, and clues, escape rooms are for you. The concept is pretty straightforward: you and your chosen teammates (2–10 players) will find yourselves locked in a room done up like a haunted house, science lab, or prison, to name but a few themes. To escape, you’ll need to find clues and solve a series of puzzles before you run out of time. If you think it sounds easy, you could be in for a big surprise!

Other Fun Activities for Kids

Of course, there are tons more places to have fun as a family or with friends, like go‑kart tracks, bowling alleys, and laser tag centres, not to mention the Vallée Secrète in Saint‑Raymond, where you can go on a forest treasure hunt to find an intrepid band of gnomes! Whatever the ages and interests, you’ll find activities galore in the Québec City area.
