Benjo inc.
Benjo, a new business in the Saint-Roch district.
BENJO is the most fantastic and magical toy store in Québec City, an innovative concept that will revolutionize the toy industry. It is located in the heart of Saint-Roch in the former Paquet warehouse, with a surface area of 25,000 sq. ft. Benjo comprises a store and the Resto Brico workshop, which has a handicraft work area, kids’ birthday room and restaurant. There are four entrances: One on rue Saint-Joseph, two on boulevard Charest (one of which leads to the handicraft work area) and the fourth leads to an escalator connected to the new, 120-car indoor parking lot. Over a dozen departments were created in the store to stimulate our young clientele’s imagination. Construction toys, giant race track, electric train that runs through the store, plane, gas station, puppet theatre, stuffed animal and jewellery workstation, clothing, books and a permanent art gallery for kids. As in all fairy tales, the wonderful universe of Benjo was designed with a pinch of pixie dust and a wave of a magic wand. Every child is king (or queen) of this entertaining, creative and educational kingdom. They are free to wander around accompanied by a friendly robot made of recycled parts and the Benjo mascot, a giant frog. Benjo’s goal is to offer its clients original, high-quality products that are fun, educational, non-violent and stimulate the imagination. The choice of merchandise promotes respect for the environment and recycling. Owing to Benjo’s corporate mission and the fact this original concept is filling a niche in the toy industry, the company will certainly provide a boost to the regional economy.
