Skiing and Snowboarding
March 3 to 17, 2012, a host of fun activities will be on the agenda for young and old alike! Animation, music, mountain discovery rally, skating, initiation to disc golf, inflatable structures and mountain sugarhouse—the atmosphere will truly be at its best!

From March 3 to 11, 2012, in addition to the sliding school day camps, numerous family activities are on the agenda for visitors of all ages: GPS rally, fun run, treasure hunt, games of skill, sugarhouse and animation with none other than Igor Le Ligorien, to name but a few. There will be many prizes to be won throughout the week. To end your Saturdays in style, go to the summit pub where Gil & Gang goes Country and DJ Poirier & Boogat will make you sing and dance in a highly charged atmosphere as part of the free après ski shows!
Cross-Country Skiing and Snowshoeing
Cross-country ski centers offer a variety of enticing activities for spring break! The Québec City Tourism Cross-country ski and snowshoeing web site also offers plenty of information.

Dogsledding
What a great activity to try! Enjoy the great outdoors and discover our winter sceneries with a team of sled dogs. Dogsledding is for everyone!
Skating
Take full advantage of winter with this Nordic activity with friends, family, or that special someone. Many sites are available in the city.
Sliding
Sliding… Tobogganing…A no-fuss winter activity turned into hours of fun at one of these centres!

Friday, March 2 and Saturday, March 3, 2012, from 7:30 pm to 9 pm. Participate in a guided torch-lit hike and discover the beauty and magic of the Marais du Nord by winter night. This exceptional and unique experience will allow you to learn about the park and its nocturnal animals. Join us Friday, March 4 or Saturday, March 5, 2011, from 19:30 to 21:00. Upon arrival, our visitors are greeted by a guide dressed in traditional costume who escorts them to the traditional home of the Hurons (long house), then to the medicine booth, the sweating tent, the giant tee-pee, the smokehouse and drying tent, the booth describing the traditional means of transportation, and finally, to the last booth describing the first contact with the Europeans.
March 5 to 9, 2012, children get in free while adults enjoy a preferential rate of $10. Children can play in the outdoor ice structures and games (igloos, bean bag game, maze, etc.), get their face painted and see theatrical presentations. Discover the many new attractions, including a fantastic skating oval to skate with the family, the longest snow-and-ice slide and a typical Northern First Nations camp. Not to be missed: having a drink from an ice glass and visiting the themed suites (or even staying in one)!
March 3 to 11, 2012, families will get plenty of time to play, slide and jump around the many inflatable structures. The younger ones will also get to enjoy entertaining presentations with walruses and seals. Come see our new polar bears and arctic foxes. As well, let Festi Lumière dazzle you with 400,000 LED lights illuminating the site every Friday and Saturday night until March 10.
March 3 to 11, 2012, from 8:30 am to 3 pm, enjoy nature in winter and learn more about birds with the Bingo de la Relâche. Discover 6 km of winter walking trails throughout the plain and forest, 13 bird feeding stations and the welcoming warmth of the Relais de l’Érablière.
March 3 to 11, 2012, Village Vacances Valcartier proposes a whirlwind of activities for Spring Break! In addition to the snow slides, skating paths and ice karting, a multitude of outdoor activities await young and old. Technophiles or neophytes, inquisitive children and adults, come discover and experiment with information technologies. Internet, cellular phone…? These things are now part of our everyday. But what was the world like before they existed? How do they work? Discover technological innovations of all kinds. On the program: bizarre shows, animated workshops and numerous technological experiments such as Morse code, augmented reality, 3D scanning and virtual interaction through motion capture.
Art for Spring Break! Many activities will be offered March 5 to 9, 2012, to help visitors discover art and creation. Starting with short tours of the museum's collection of artwork, workshops will have you playing with shapes and colours. Animation films and exciting shows round out the program.
In the heart of Old Québec, an educational show recounting civilian and military life in Québec awaits you. March 8 to 11, 2012, we offer free admission to all students accompanied by their parent(s). Family rate: 15% rebate applicable for 2 children 11 and over and 30% for 3 or more children accompanied by their parents.
Mines de rien !
History and awareness of arms and mines.With inert military rifles, the workshop traces the history of arms from the 18th century to the present and the evolution of mines, the focus being on prevention. The workshop will be followed by a game of observation and a guided visit of the Citadelle. For 7 years old and up. Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes. The National Assembly offers free guided tours of the Parliament Building. Discover the history and operation of Quebec's parliamentary institutions and the Second Empire architectural style of this heritage building. Also visit the Je me souviens exhibit, which reveals little-known details of the history and architecture of the Parliament Building. An illustrated timeline featuring numerous period pictures guide visitors through the great moments of this memorable place.
