Once again this summer, Québec will be hosting Les Chemins invisibles, a street event created by the Cirque du Soleil especially for Québec City. At dusk, the public is invited to witness a unique show beneath the Dufferin-Montmorency highway ramp, in a space called Ilôt Fleurie. From Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day to Labour Day, Tuesday to Saturday. No representation on August 31, 2010.

The Québec City region will again be host to the Mountain Bike and Trial World Championships. Québec City is one of only two cities to have hosted this prestigious event more than once, the other being Vail. Legends of the sport and outstanding champions such as Marie-Hélène Prémont, Julien Absalon, Sam Hill and many others, will once again be there to thrill spectators. What's more, in 2010 Mont-Sainte-Anne will also be celebrating its 20th anniversary of mountain biking.

The Image Mill is an architectural projection produced and performed, in Quebec City, by Robert Lepage and Ex Machina. Representing the largest projection ever done, it requires the use of fine technology to project a huge quantity of images and films on the grain silos of the Québec City Harbour, an oversized screen, 600 feet wide by 30 meters high! In the hands of the creators, this huge mass of concrete is in constant transformation, which gives us the strange impression of it being alive and talking to us. Leaving the usual clichés behind, we discover the fascinating history of Quebec City with its upheavals, its controversies, and its great political and popular moments. The Image Mill was created as part of the festivities surrounding the 400th anniversary of Québec City. Following the success of the 2008 edition, the work has been extended for another five years. “Because of its geographical location, urban planning and its history, Québec City is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.» Robert Lepage
