Hide detailsIn this year marking the 250th anniversary of the Battle of the Plains of Abraham, the exhibit 1756–1763, Story of a War at Musée de la civilisation in Québec City presents a global look at the Seven Years War. This conflict, the first to have truly worldwide ramifications, had major repercussions in the Americas including the loss of New France at the hands of the English. Presented until March 14, 2010, this historical overview allows visitors to better understand the context surrounding the September 13, 1759 confrontation that, although brief, had such a profound impact on Québec history. This exhibit is a coproduction of Musée de la civilisation and the Stewart Museum.
