Observe the Butterflies
For over ten years, the Butterfly Aviary at the Domaine de Maizerets in Québec City is open to the public. The goal of this fun and educational activity is to teach people about the insect world (butterflies in particular) and underscore the importance of conservation. Visitors can speak to the team of entomologist-guides at an outdoor gazebo, where 150 to 300 local and exotic species of butterflies live in a hanging net structure.
