Université Laval’s research and teaching forest offers the chance to meet the largest member of the deer family on the planet. The Montmorency Forest moose-watching safaris are available in two formats.

Forêt Montmorency offers 2 formats of moose=watching safaris in September and October. This Fall, discover the king of the forest with our naturalist guide Pierre Vaillancourt, at dusk or at dawn.

Come and study the moose during the mating period. Learn how to recognize signs of his presence or passage, traces, scratchings etc. Experiment the "call" of the marvelous and mysterious animal, learn all about its biology, its habitat and its way of life.
