Jeremy Follows His Dreams
L'Orchestre symphonique de Québec
April 6, 2014
Sunday • 3 p.m.
Admission: $13 to $15
Do you believe in the importance of achieving your childhood dreams to become an accomplished human being? This is what the symphonic fable Jeremy Follows His Dreams proposes for children from age 5 to 10.
Jeremy is a young Quebec boy whose parents are moving to the south of France. Different from others by his accent and Quebec origins, he explores the culture of his new country, but also experiences the problems of being uprooted. His encounter with an old wolffish who agrees to set sail with him traces the trajectory of his biggest dream: to become a sailor and to one day sail the Mediterranean all the way to the Saint Lawrence Seaway!
This fable invites young and old on a rhythmic musical trip that shows how respect for self and others, tolerance, perseverance and openmindedness lead to achieving our dreams, and also make us better people. Learn more
