A short 40-km (25-mile) drive east of Québec City, Station Mont-Sainte-Anne is one of the largest downhill ski resorts in Québec, with 66 runs, 17 of which are illuminated for night skiing. Artificial snow. Vertical drop: 625 m (2063 feet). Chair lifts, T-bars, and gondolas whisk you up to the top of the mountain (800 m/2640 feet). Panoramic view of the St. Lawrence River. Boutique, ski school, equipment rental, restaurant and day care. Group rates. Onsite activities: cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, skating, dogsledding and paragliding.
