Most ski resorts are located around Québec City, North shore and South shore, as is the largest concentration of cross-country skiers in Québec and Canada (47). Season starts in November and ends in April. The members in the region have gathered together to promote cross-country skiing, exchange expertise and improve safety. They offer customers a repertoire indicating the facilities and services available (including snowshoeing and hiking) accessible within a 150 km (93 miles) radius of Québec, including 10 of them in a 20 km (12 miles) radius.
