On December 21, the winter solstice and longest night of the year, Québec City will shine with the arrival of the Québec City Light Festival. To celebrate the official beginning of winter and the magic of the holidays, the Festival will light up the youthful spirit, history and unique architecture of this creative and dynamic city. Enjoy a ludic, immersive and bright experience in the heart of Old Quebec!

Festi Lumière at Aquarium du Québec

Expect a feast for the eyes—an explosion of light and colour on outdoor pathways featuring trees, animal figures, and ice sculptures sure to delight kids and grownups alike. At Festi Lumière you’ll enjoy all kinds of fun activities in a unique outdoor setting—illuminated slides, inflatable games, and a gingerbread house where the little ones can decorate cookies.
