The summer of 2017 will be festively naval. Heirs of Wars is a personal look at the lives of some Canadian Navy veterans during the Second World War. This touching exhibit features testimony by veterans’ family and friends, as well as a collection of artefacts they have left behind. The Victory Torch, a unique symbol of the Canadian war effort during WW2, is associated with the Victory Bond fundraising campaign. It will be returning to Canada for the first time since 1941.
Hours: June 19 to September 4, 2017, daily, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. September 5 to November 11, Friday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Open upon request fall and winter seasons.
Admission: $5; children (12 and under): free; family: $12.
Closed: Closed for Statutory and Christmas Holidays.
