On June 24, 2016, the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec (MNBAQ) opened its brand-new and much-anticipated Pierre Lassonde pavilion—an impressive architectural feat that melds the museum’s historic building with the pavilion’s contemporary design. Over 35,000 people visited the pavilion during its three-day grand opening alone.
