Autour de l'île is a free community newspaper published every month and delivered to every home on the island. The paper focuses on local news and topics of interest to the island's residents. Every summer, a special edition is published for tourists, with 27 000 copies being sent to tourist information centers across Québec City. The paper has won several awards from the "Association des médias écrits communautaires".
