
Interpretation Stroll along the Saint Lawrence River Shores
Historical Québec City, included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Treasures, is in close proximity to wide open spaces. During this interpretation walk, you will discover the geography and abundant natural resources of the magnificent Saint Lawrence River, and its important role in local economy development over the past 400 years. As you walk the 7 km-long beach, the guide will explain why Jacques Cartier tried to establish a colony here in 1540-41. A promontory offers an exceptional viewpoint from which you can admire the river below.
