Interpretative Walk Along The St. Lawrence River
Historical Québec City is a unique North American urban centre in close proximity to the great outdoors. During this interpretative walk, you will discover the geography and abundant natural resources of the magnificent St. Lawrence River, as well as the role it played in developing the local economy over the past 400 years. As you walk along the beach that stretches 12 km / 7 miles along the shores of the St. Lawrence River, the guide will explain why Jacques Cartier tried to establish a colony here in 1540-41. A promontory offers an exceptional viewpoint from which you can admire the river below.
