Québec City’S Vegetable Garden: Neuville

Enjoy a meal at La Maison de Grand-mère. Built in Neuville in 1760, this imposing residence has been declared a historical monument. La Maison de Grand-mère offers a magnificent view of the St. Lawrence River as well as a cosy and inviting atmosphere reminiscent of a bygone era. The innkeeper, Solange Gilles, offers her guests a delicious selection of regional dishes.

Next, take a guided tour of La Ferme l'Émeulienne, an emu breeding farm. The owner, Émilienne Chouinard, a retired school principal, will eagerly share her knowledge of these unusual birds. You are sure to appreciate the relaxed and homey atmosphere of this farm.
