Come Discover The History, Culture And Traditions Of The Huron-Wendat
You will be welcomed in a natural environment by an Aboriginal host, who will invite you into a long house (a traditional Huron dwelling). He will explain the Huron way of life in the 1700s before leading a tour of a meat smoking and drying hut. Next, you will stop at a gigantic teepee, where you will discover the different First Nations of Québec. A shaman will teach you about medicinal plants and the mystic world of masks. You will watch traditional dances, listen to legends and meet the clan leader. Your visit will include a traditional meal made of savoury buffalo, caribou, deer and trout served with wild rice and corn.
