The only sailboat
race including an important river portion (400 nautical miles), thus
allowing spectators to follow their favourite sailors, and
international medias to cover easily the event. The departure takes
place in July from the Old Port in Québec City. Activities are
scheduled in Québec City during ten days prior to the departure. Every
four years, this year in 2000, next race in 2004.
