Theme Evenings

Council of war at the Martello military tower
Transform yourself into Colonel de Salaberry or Laura Secord and uncover the traitor who sold important information to the enemy and… who is hiding among you! Mingle with witnesses and suspects and experience a soldier’s life by savouring a typical meal in the historic setting of the Martello military tower.

Dine-A-Round
The Québec City region is world renowned for the quality and diversity of its restaurants. Include in your program of activities a meal where members of your group, throughout various restaurants, can discover our gastronomy.

New France: Go back in time
Peasant, bourgeois, rich 18th century merchant or courtesan in the court of the king of France? You decide! Dress up and go back in time. Get the royal treatment and top off your evening with a musical show that will take you back to the past!

Selection of Ports and accompaniments
Get ready for an evening worthy of even the finest gourmets. Savour fresh figs, dates, caramel custard, tarte tatin, stilton, aged cheddar and praline chocolate whose flavours are enhanced by its own Port wine.

Magic and illusions
Add a touch of magic and fun to your evenings… illusionists, magicians and conjurers who stroll from table to table. A fun way to liven up your cocktail party or dinner.

Ballroom evening
Put on your formalwear or your ballroom gown and move to the sounds of jazz, swing, Duke Ellington and classics from the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s, performed by a big band. Dance the whole night away!

Ice-breaker evening
Propose a unique activity to the members of your business meeting group. Organize an ice sculpture contest and add to the challenge by giving it a theme. After all their efforts, the novice sculptors are more than happy to sit down to a nice meal, whose dessert will be an assortment of… ice creams and sorbets.

Murder Mystery Evening
Do the members of your group not know each other very well? Tell them that there is a criminal among them! They will all get together to find the murderer. They will share their points of view, information, evidence, deductions… each one will add their two cents. Will they be able to find the evidence and expose the guilty one?

Sugar shack
It’s party time! A lively Québécois evening where you will square dance (quadrille canadien) to the sounds of wooden spoons and fiddles after a typical sugar shack meal: baked beans, ham, pancakes, maple sugar, taffy and syrup!

Life is a circus!
Step out of the ordinary and transform a ballroom into a circus arena! Enjoy a nice meal while stilt walkers and clowns on unicycles wander between the tables and tightrope walkers and trapezists perform above.

The Amerindian experience and way of life
In an Indian village setting, dancers in traditional costumes welcome you and offer you typical meals prepared with bison, venison, caribou and trout cooked in clay. Through Huron legends and songs, you will discover the soul of this aboriginal nation. Reconciliation and discovery!
