About Québec City Tourism Québec City Tourism is a public organization devoted to promoting tourism in the Québec City area. The QCT promotes convention and leisure travel through interaction with meeting planners, travel agents and trade and consumer media worldwide for the continual economic benefit of the community. The QCT also provides information services to the tourists when they are in the region. Established: 1984 Funding: Québec City Tourism is funded by the City of Québec, the Governements of Canada and the Province of Québec and membership dues. The Official Visitor Centers, located at 835, avenue Wilfrid-Laurier (borough of La Cité) and at 3300, avenue des Hôtels (borough of Sainte-Foy-Sillery) have assisted more than 158 000 visitors in 2006. The seasonnal visitor centers are closed in the winter and are located in the Parc de la Chute-Montmorency and in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures. Employees: 44 full-time, 47 part-time | |||||||||
