Québec City, April 24, 2009 – One of the Québec City Tourism information offices and four museums ranked first among the world’s ten main tourist destinations, according to a study conducted by Paris Île-de-France’s regional tourism committee in the summer of 2008 (between June 30 and July 27). Tourism offices and museums were evaluated in ten large cities: Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Madrid, New York, Paris, Québec City, Rome, Tokyo and Washington. Québec City’s information office came in first in its category with a score of 95%. The Musée de la civilisation, Musée de l’Amérique française, Centre d’interprétation de Place-Royale and Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec also topped the list of 49 museums and information offices [...] Read more
