A Fun-Filled Sugar Camp Outing

Sugar cabins in the Québec City area stand witness to heritage and ancestral tradition. A Québec sugar bush party is comparable to no other sugar bush party. Come along and learn how maple sap is collected, then processed according to methods handed down from Native people to the first European settlers. Enjoy a typical sugar camp meal (from fèves au lard, sausages, and eggs to heaping helpings of crêpes!), a sleigh ride in the maple grove, the party ambiance of bygone days and, above all, the sweet taste of maple toffee poured hot on the snow to cool. Don’t forget to bring back some maple syrup!
Érablière du Lac-Beauport
Nestled at the foot of a majestic mountain in enchanting scenery characteristic of maple groves, Érablière du Lac-Beauport offers a whole range of services. All kinds of maple products available on-site, derived from our 12,000 tapped trees. Maple products and souvenirs in our maple tree museum and boutique. Two halls accommodating 200 and 120 visitors respectively at your disposal. Hearty, traditional sugar shack meals are served with entertainment provided by artists well- versed in Québec folklore. Advanced booking required for "Trapper's Camp", our new Interpretation Centre for Québec wildlife. The sugar shack operates year-round. Walking trails and spacious parking lot. Treat yourself to a change of scenery in our maple grove, just a few minutes drive from downtown Québec City.
Cabane à sucre l'En-Tailleur
Staying true to tradition is our watchword. Enjoy a typical Québécois meal on the land cleared by our forefathers. Traditional menu served by courteous personnel. An outing the entire family will enjoy. Sample maple taffy cooled on snow all year long. Entertainment and folk music. Maple products and souvenirs for sale onsite. Can accommodate any reception or event. Open year round for groups. Reservations required. Seating capacity of 350.
Érablière le Chemin du Roy
Located in an enchanting decor, the "Le Chemin du Roy" maple grove offers everything needed to make your visit unforgettable! Enjoy the hearty sugar shack meal prepared on-site and discover our new package specialized in an authentic home-made cooking Quebec country flavour. Also, a, traditional entertainment or entertainment adapted to your specifications and a sleigh ride through the grove. Nature lovers will have a great time skiing on our cross-country ski trails, snowshoeing among the trees and viewing the Saint Lawrence River. Cabane à sucre Leclerc
Located 20 minutes away from Québec, near Highway 40, exit 281 south.The Leclerc family invites you to share some unforgettable moments during the sugaring-off season from March 1 to May 1. We have been offering a warm welcome to visitors since 1951, in the spirit of tradition passed down from father to son. Visitors keep coming back again and again to share in the special atmosphere, enjoy a sleigh ride or simply savour a delicious all-you-can-eat meal.The Cabane holds up to 200 persons and is open seven days a week during season. Various maple products made on the premises are for sale at all times. All-you-can-eat taffy poured on snow is offered all year long. The Leclerc family is pleased to host special events such as: corn husking and hot dog parties, receptions of all kinds, conventions, marriages or anniversaries. Background music and live entertainment available, dance floor, bar service, site accessible to handicapped persons.
Sucrerie Blouin
Located along the shores of the St. Lawrence River in the maple grove itself, the sugar shack offers memorable sugaring off parties. Enjoy taffy poured on snow, even in summer (all year-round). Information on the fabrication of maple products.Traditional meals: pea soup, baked beans and pork, ham, sausages, stew, meat pie, salted pork crackling rimes, eggs in syrup, and pancakes. Super brunch every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All-you-can-eat méchoui upon request: lamb, pork, beef served with salad bar. Other activities in the summer: corn husking and oyster parties. Family and group celebrations. Maple produce for sale. Also dance hall with traditional, modern and disco music. Special prices for groups. Capacity: 200 to 250 places. Open year-round upon reservation only. Air conditioning.
Érablière Mart-L
Warmth and tradition...Welcome all to Érablière Mart'l, just 23 km away from downtown Québec, where you will enjoy the warm atmosphere of an olden-day sugar camp operation with its traditional menu and delicious "all you can eat" sugar candy, served by considerate, attentive hosts. Dancing and entertainment during meal service, outdoor games for young and old. Enjoy our hiking trails and sleighrides. Off-season reception events (weddings, family gatherings, conventions, corn boils, spit-roast lamb). Facilities for handicapped persons.
