Québec!
July 3 to 6, 2008
• July 3: A great Solemn Mass, official ceremonies, and a
military parade
• July 3 and 4: Two special 400th anniversary shows presented as
part of the renowned Québec City Summer Festival
• July 3 to July 5, 2008: The “Québec plein la rue” series will
bring the biggest international street performance companies
here for a North American premiere at Place de l’Assemblée-nationale,
• July 6: On the Plains of Abraham, a great gathering

Garden
June 6 to October 13, 2008
Musée de la civilisation
Franco Dragone will be in Québec in 2008! Long associated with
Cirque du Soleil, he also created and produced Céline Dion’s A
New Day and Le Rêve in Las Vegas. In Québec City, the creator
will transforn the exterior of Musée de la civilisation in a
daring new project that will use water, light and plants as
installation materials to create a gathering place for all
visitors.

Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec
A thematic exhibition showcasing the diversity and quality of
the Louvre's Oriental, Egyptian, Greek, Etruscan, and Roman
Antiquities collections.

Le chemin qui
marche: a glowing tribute to the St. Lawrence River
On the
evening of August 15, 2008
Under the glimmer of the full moon, the St. Lawrence River will
receive a vibrant tribute on the theme of meetings and
encounters. A huge all-night show will be presented on the banks
and on the water, which will become a giant dance floor for the
occasion! Acrobatics, dance and megaprojections will electrify
this historical event.

Céline Dion on
the plains of Abraham
August 22, 2008
Céline Dion will perform on the Plains of Abraham with several
other artists on Friday August 22. More details about the show
will be available later.
